Am i okay if i had my DOT 2 times last....?

Okay i had my period 2 times last month..And i usually have on the 12 and its the 26th is it normal....or is there something wrong

p.s im 12 about to be 13
Answer:
hey that happened to me too. i asked my mom and she said its normal because she said our hormone thingy hasn't fully adjusted yet so it'll do some strange things
peace xxxxxxxxxx
most likely your hormone levels are high and causing this, if it keeps it up then see the doctor because you can become anemic from too much blood loss
this is normal, your only 12 and your body is not regulated into a consistant cycle yet, give it time it will strighten up.

Am i normal?

i am naturally blonde and i have black pubic hair i am 14 is that normal? i really need to know plz.
Answer:
Define normal. As long as it isn't spontaneously catching fire or something crazy, I think you are going to be just fine.
yes
yes, normal.
as far as I know - everyone has the same hair color there.
Yeah! Everyone has dark pubic hair. I have naturally blonde hair and I have dark pubic hair. Don't worry your normal!
lol yeah.. ur fine don't worry
Yes. It is normal to even have hair that goes all the way around down there. The color is fine. Most peoples have darker pubic hair.
yeah it is. My sister is 17 and she has the same thing.
Must be if that is what you have.
i think so
Yes, that's normal.
yes
dose your normalness depend on what color pubes you have?
very normal...im also a natural blonde and have had dark pubic hair. dont worry about it. your fine.
This is really pretty normal, I've seen my older sister after a shower and she has dark hair down there as well (she's a blonde too). I've noticed alot of blondes also have dark eyebrows. I think you are normal.
The hair on your head has nothing to do with the hair in other regions. There are men out there that have one color on their head and a different colored beard on their face.
do you mean you are blonde down there and only one of your pubic hair is black than it might still be normal
yea it is normal because all girls have black pubic hair!!
Since when did both have to match to be normal?

Don't worry nothing is going to fall off because it is black.
You can rest easy now knowing that all is well in pubicland ;0)
yes, that's normal
uhh yeah

Am i in "trouble" coz it "bursted"??

Hi everyone.i have a "gal problem"..i reside in a normal climate area and if by any chance i travel out of town to a hot place i normally miss my periods or they come late. Last week my and my boyfriend went out of town (to a coastal town that was very hot) and while at "it" the cd bursted. He pulled out in time and the next day i took the morning pill as a precaution coz am not ready be a mummy. Its been 3 days and as usual my P's are late...am really worried wondering if its coz of the bursted cd or the usual tendancy of my P's coming late coz i travelled. I am now kindly asking if there is a way i can make my P's come ASAP or shud i just wait for them in agony?? and pliz dont ask me to go for the a test..am over scared!!

thanx everyone.
Answer:
Stress can also affect periods such as the traveling but I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to let them know what is going on and see what they think could be causing this.
You could be pregnanit or - whenevre I go on holiday to a hot place i dont come on my period, i think theres nothing wrong with it as my mum once went to an asian country that was very hot and stayed there for 6 months and she didnt have a period at all.
When in doubt seek medical attention.

Am I healthy?

I weigh about 130 pounds but I am only 5 feet tall. I am kinda muscular and workout 5 times a week tho, Am I healthy?
Answer:
Very much so. Especially if that weight is mostly muscle. I would be very happy with your body if I were you.
Yeah, you are.
Yes.
Yea I weigh as much as you and I'm 5'5, but I also am very athletic
Just cause you weigh 130 pounds does not mean your healthy.Depends on what your eating?
Yeah Baby!!
ya it drepends on you frame i heard you multiply how many inches you are over 5 feet[ex.5] multiply by [25] and add to 100 [125]

hope that helps

Am i having my period??

okayy i am 12 years ols am frequently throughout the day i am facing red gooey blood type stuff. what is that?? is it possible that i am having my period? and if i am,how do i tell my mom. i am a little shy and embaresed to ask her like what it is. i need help is there a possible way to make the blood type red gooey stuff stop besides going to the doc? please help me i am very scared!
Answer:
Talk to your mom or a school councilor. You are probably normal, but you need reassurance.
Tell your mom, she loves you and went through the same thing, so she will understand and explain to you whats going on.
Yeah, you are starting your period. There's no way to stop it and no way to avoid telling your mom. It's not embarrasing at all. Just tell her when you two are alone that you think you started your period. Don't be scared :) it's normal for your age.
It's definitely your period. It will last around 5 - 7 days. Just go to your mom and tell her straight up that you have got your period, and could she please buy you some pads.

You can't make it stop without something like birth control pills, or having a hysterectomy (your uterus removed) and i'm sure you don't want either of those yet! lol. It will happen about once a month, usually every 28 days, although many women have different lengths, mine is around every 36 days.

Congratulations sweetie. :)
Oh hun, it's totally normal to be going through that stuff at your age. I dont know if anybody has talked to you about puberty, but it is nothing to be scared of. You are becoming a woman and your body is preparing for your future children. If you are having some stomach aches and pains, it could be your period. If not then you are one of the lucky ones. No pain for now, but yes more than likely it is your period. If you are embarrassed to ask your mom, ask an older sister, or somebody you feel really comfortable around. All mom's care about when their baby girls are growing up, so it is probably a good idea to tell your mom.
It probably is your period. I hate to break it to you... but you can't stop it. You'll have to deal with it just like all the other gals. Just slap on a pad or tampon and you'll be fine. You shouldn't be embarassed about it. If there's anybody you should ask, it's your mom. There's really no need to be scared. Just hope that you're not the type that gets cramps.
That's a period. You can't make it stop, even if you go to the doctor. This is oing to happen every 28 days for the next 40 or so years of your life (except when you're pregnant...you get a 9 month break then!). Congratulations! You are now officially a woman! Tell your mom...she will be rpoud, and she will need to buy you pads and tampons. It may not feel like a great thing now, and it'll never be a FUN thing, but this DOES mean you're growing up. This is a proiud moment. A fairly gross and uncomforatble one, but a proud one just the same.
congrats it your first period i dont know how exactly to tell you to tell your mom but when i had mine i waited a day to tell her because my mom was sick!
yea your starting your period.and dont be scared! your mom loves you and went through the same thing just go in there {where ever she is}and say hey mom,do you think we can talk and then just come right out and say it dont be shy ! i was like that to but its your mom so she will totaly understand!! and i started about your age too.but just go tell your mom she loves you so dont be scared or nothing,oh and if it helps when your in the store just say mom i need tampons or pads whatever you want to use and then she will get the hint that your on it haha i did it that way! but dont be scared!
ok.well best of luck!

Yes most likely u are going to your period. There is only one option: TELL YOUR MOTHER. trust me, all (99%) of girls go to their mother when this happens, the rest go on ByeDr.com and try to firgure out what to do.

dont be a coward, ALL girls go through their periods, so its natural, just go straight up and tell her.

You can continue to ask ppl on ByeDr.com what to do, but the only thing to do is to tell your mother, she went through her period to.

cmon, u can do it =)
You need to tell your mom. That's what mom's are for. You are probably right--it probably is your period and if so you won't have to see a doctor, it will go away in about 5-7 days. This is something that all young girls face. Don't be embarrassed to tell your mom. She will be able to help you get the feminine products that you need and help you deal with this change in your body.
You shouldn't be embarrassed because your mom knows that you will eventually start your period, which I guess you just did. You are a female, and it's bound to happen! As for telling your mom, you don't have to start a big conversation about it, just simply say," Mom, I think I started my period." She will know what to do from there. She'll probably just tell you a little information about it, and also how to use a pad/tampon.

I was nervous to tell my mom too, because it's just kind of awkward. But just don't stress over it too much and get it over with! Good luck! :)
Hi,

Yes you may be. Pl. find here the informations about menstrual periods.

Menstrual "periods" begin in most girls between 9 and 16 years of age. During the menstrual period a blood-like fluid flows out of the vagina. This is a monthly discharge and requires a girl to wear some kind of sanitary pad or tampon to absorb this fluid and keep it from soiling the clothes. Pads have adhesive strips and are worn inside the panties. Tampons are placed inside the vagina.

In the beginning the periods are irregular and scanty or heavy. Later they become regular. Most periods last from 3 to 7 days. After the period, there may be a day or two of light bleeding, called spotting. This is normal.

If bleeding occurs regularly between periods, the doctor must be consulted. Menstrual periods do not necessarily limit ones activities like swimming, sports, riding, or gym classes. Exercises help get rid of other discomforts that may be present during the periods. These include:

cramps

bloating

soreness or swelling in the breasts

headaches

sudden mood changes or irritability

depression

Feel free to contact.

yes you r please tell your mom thats the only thing you can do =P
red gooey stuff you say? .hmm.yepp! that's your period!... there's nothing to worry about though. all you have to do is tell your mom (calmly) that you are growing up, and that you may be experiencing your first period. get a pad, and change it every couple hours to be sanitary. there is no way to stop it, but it will stop on its own in a couple of days. but i suggest that even when you don't see blood anymore...still wear a pad for 1 more day after wards (just to make sure that you don't leak and stain your pants, and just to make sure that your period has stopped). and i also suggest waiting awhile before starting to use tampons...

congratulations by the way! you're growing up kiddo! lol

good luck!
aw...dont be scared sweetie, every girl has it. its as normal as...breathing. and your mom is there for you, she loves you. she's changed your diapers for crying out loud, why should you be shy with her?

i know how you feel though. i told my sister tho b/c she was around. and i just told her i saw blood, and she helped me out. trust me, they (parents, siblings) know how nervous/scared you are and they will NOT make fun of you. that was my biggest fear too, but they are adults and know that its normal.

good luck girlie! and welcome to womanhood!! :)
Yes you have started your period. Theres nothing to worry about, it happens to every girl, and it will last around 4-6 days depending on each person. Dont be embarrassed, to tell your Mom about it, i was embarrassed to tell her to when i first got my period to, but you have to let her know, and ask if she can buy you some pads. And any pains you get are prob just normal from your period. Just try not to worry, its scary at first but its really not that bad, just try to relax.

:)

Am i having discharge?

i have like gooey white stuff on my underware and i realized i might have it when i looked on www.kidshealth.com and it said it's like a gooey white stuff and i ahve that too does that mean am getting my period or is it just bactiria am not treating?
Answer:
Dont worry, every woman starts having white discharge a bit before they get their period. You're 11, like you said, and your period is bound to come any time soon. You HAVE to have discharge to wash all that bacteria out, otherwise you would be unhealthy. it's normal, dont worry.
Well it could be both. You could be cleaning yourself out or just getting ur period. I would wear a pad just to be safe.
most likely period if smell is bad or fishy then bacterial infection!
first yes it is a discharge, many times that means you have a lot of bacteria inside your body. Now this is the important part, if it has any kind of smell. you need to go to the doctor. most of the time the smell means you could be getting a yeast infection or something else is wrong. Give it a couple of days and if your period does not start then go make an appointment with your doctor so that s/he can answer your questions. OK...

Am i harming myself???

well.since i got on vacation(1 week ago) everything has changed and i feel like im harming myself...i cant sleep until 4 AM every day and i wake up @ about 11-12 afternoon...i've been stuffing myself with food..i didnt get fat YET but im sure it's coming...i some times feel pain in my body from ebing on the computer so long,..but i have nothing else 2 do.help me plz..i think im damaging my body...
PS:i always feel like my mouth is dry even after drinking water...
Answer:
MOVE AROUND AND EXCERCISE, READ, STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER, EAT HEALTHY, AND FORCE YOURSELF TO SLEEP (DON'T STAY UP ANY LATER THAN 2:00 A.M.
OF COURSE YOU'RE HURTING YOURSELF BUT NOT FOR SLEEPING TOO MUCH. STAYING ON THE COMPUTER FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS COULD HURT YOUR BACK AND EYES A LOT. EATING JUNK IS GOING TO GET YOU SOME WEIGHT. IF THIS IS FOR NOT A LONG TIME THEN ITS OKAY B/C ITS YOUR VACATION
That doesn't sound like a healthy lifestyle at all.
Yeah, I'd think you were harming yourself. Because you're supposed to get 10-12 horus of sleep as a child, and 8-10 I think as an adult. Also, if you're not excercising, the food you eat will just sit there, and the amount of sleep you're getting causes stress; Im getting at the fact you're going to see yourself gaining weight. Maybe even a lot. I think you should join a gym, go for jogs with friends, or go out and make new friends. Or just see a doctor. (:
I think you need to get your blood sugar checked. It sure sounds to me like something is going on and a visit to the doctor would help...your symptoms sound like high blood sugar. Go as soon as you can.
You didn't say where you vacation was, but if you've been passing through time zones it can take up to a fortnight before you circadian rhythm is harmonized.

Sounds like you're bored or in love, do something YOU enjoy and see how things pan out.
cheers from another twilight shifter.
Gray
that sounds bad. 1.try going 2 sleep earlier 2.eat less %26 healthier foods 3.hang out with friends, try doing ANYTHING besides being on the computer, or limit yourself 2 like 1 hour on the puter' a day. :D
You are harming yourself in the long run. You can handle a day of junking out a few times a year, but every day is asking for trouble. The food that we snack on is full of chemicals and additive that cause all kinds of problems, among then is Type ll diabetes. You need to get some fresh fruit and vegetables to replace the snacks and you have to get some exercise. Take a walk or something.
It is never good for your body to go without exercise and healthy eating. A consistent sleep pattern is ideal but noone really has one. It's hard to go to sleep and get up and the same exact time every single day. But it is easy to go for walks, jump rope, pop in a work out video, hiking, biking, swimming, etc. I think people spend way too much time on the net and it's unhealthy. Sure, I'm on here, but I allow myself certain time each week and I also work out 5 times a week, work a full time job and do other things without my computer. It sounds like if you're not on the net, you have nothing to do and that's sad, kinda the point I was trying to make in my last answer to someone, I said that the internet is killing the ability for youth to develop social skills. Don't you have the desire to meet people, make friends, go outside and see beautiful things? If you can't sleep after like 20 mins, get up and wait til you feel sleepy again. Insomnia is common and hard to beat, but you CAN beat it if you just try. I can't make you do these things, but in your best interest, you should really consider them. Exercise, eat well, and take a vacation from your computer and television. Texting included. Electronics control too much of our lives these days, be human and go do stuff that requires moving more of your body than just your fingers!!
By vacation I'm assuming you mean school's out. Yo'ure probably just enjoying not having any structure in your schedule. I do it myself now and then. One morning, set your alarm for like 8am and then get some exercise during the day so that you're tired and can go to bed earlier. Try not to sleep past 10 in the mornings. Sitting on your butt at the computer all day is an addiction and you need to get yourself up and stimulate your mind some other way. As for the eating, if you drink more water you wont be able to eat as much. If your mouth is dry you are already feeling the effects of dehydration. Stop eating crap and get some fruit into you. Read a book. Go do something else. Get a job maybe? Yo'ull be ok, you just need to get some structure back into your life.
I have experienced the same scenario in the past. It is important for long term health to take care of your body. Talk to your doctor. I had help to get my sleeping schedule back to normal. The same with food. I splurged on vacation, eating many delights, without much self discipline. Now, I remind my self that an occasional treat does not hurt, but "continual" treats ARE harmful. Exercise is really important. If you are not the athlectic type, try walking. It helps your body and your emotions. You may have post-vacation depression. If it lasts longer than a few weeks, please see a doctor.
I am NOT a doctor so I am in NO WAY going to give you medical advice.
However, it sounds like you took a Vacation Splurge! Meaning you eat whatever, whenever and do whatever, whenever. I do that when I'm on vacation, but sometimes I go a little overboard. Although the difference between you and I is that I am usually at the beach and I don't know where you are. I am guessing it is somewhere with a computer and nothing else to do, or you just don't want to do anything else. In my opinion sitting at the computer all day are making your muscles lazy. (not to be rude or offend you) You make have heard the expression "couch potato". I think that you should get a little exercise. Go swimming, take a walk (is there a mall near by?), if you are staying in a hotel and it has a gym go there you can walk on the treadmill and watch T.V. Find someway to get active.
If that doesn't help try splitting up your eating times (still drinking LOTS of water) Eat breakfast around 10-20 minutes after you wake up. Lunch around midday (if you wake around midday skip breakfast) and Dinner around 6-9 and eat 1 snack if you want during the day.
If that doesn't help see a Doctor! As I said I am NOT a doctor and this should not be taken as medical advice.

Hope this helps!
Feel Better Soon!

Am I going to start soon?

I have all of the signs,Viagnal discharge, cramps, everything with puberty.I cramp so bad before I have to go to the bathroom, and fell like my sister on her period, and im a little moodier than I was before. Will I start soon?Any idea of what I should have with me?
Answer:
very possible. Although I'm not sure what you mean about cramping before having to go to the bathroom. Do you mean intestinal cramping? If so , that's nothing to do with your period.
Menstrual cramps are a unique feeling, it's not really a pain that can be mistaken once you know what it is.

Usually girls have early signs of puberty for about 2 years before they see their first period.
No
just to be sure, bring pads or tampons with you and extra underwear.

Am i going to have any trouble?

I have 5 cysts on my right ovary and my doctor told me thatI could either have endometriosis (which he doubts because he says I am too young (19)) or poy cystic syndrome (which I don't match any of the syptoms except the cyst. I ma not over weight, have never had acne. I have had sever to moderate pain in my lower abdomenal area and hrorible cramps during my period. I also have had migraines and really weird cycles. ( every 3 motnhs and 10 days at a time and very heavy) I have been on birth control for that. My question is Will it be difficult for me to have children if I have either one of these? And do you know anyone with these symptons, if so what is wrong with them? Personally I don't think I am too young to have endometerosis.
Answer:
You're right about not being too young for endometriosis. It can start as early as your first period, it doesn't know any age limits.

Ovarian cysts are very common. Most women have them and never even know it. They develop and dissolve without any complications. Occasionally the cysts will cause complications, perhaps even rupture, and require medical attention.

The pain you're experiencing may be coming from the cysts, the endometriosis, or something else completely.

It sounds to me like you're very well informed about your condition and the possible diagnoses. It also sounds like your doctor may not take you seriously, either because of your age or because he believes he knows better. Either way, it's not a good combination.

Continue with your research and tracking your symptoms. Find an endometriosis support group in your area and get referrals from the women there for a new doctor. Your doctor should be willing to listen to you, take your opinions into consideration and involve you in your own care.
I have endometerosis and had NO trouble getting pregnant. Actually, they say that having a baby is one of the ways to cure endometerosis (worked for me). Technically, it can make it more difficult for you to get pregnant, if you have endometerosis, but if you get it treated and stay on top of it you shouldn't have too many problems.

UPDATE:
I can only speak from personal experience, so I don't know about the cyst, but if you are under a doctor's care, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I was diagnosed with endometerosis when I was 15, and 11 years later I got pregnant 2 weeks after I stopped taking birth control. Therefore, while you are young, you are not too young to have endometerosis. I do have a friend who had severe endometerosis and several cysts; she was able to have one child with little trouble conceiving, but later she did have to get a hysterectomy because she kept getting cysts.
Most women will get cysts on her ovaries sometime in her life. they come and go. Sometimes they cause a lot of pain, like you are experiencing with your period. They won't have any affect on you getting pregnant.
Endometiosis can cause you to not get pregnant but only in extreme cases.

Am i going to grow?

im nealry 17 and im 5". i am reali small compared to all of my freinds. am i going to grow any more???
:S
Answer:
You might but always remember you aren't the only short one in the world. I'm 26 and only 5" tall. I thought the same thing at your age and I'm almost 10 years older. Dont set yourself up for a let down. Love yourself now and what you will be like in 10 years. It took a while to love myself being short but I do now. I am also not the shortest one of my friends, co workers or family members. You can't argue with what you are other wise you will always be unhappy. I love being short cause at a crowded bar I can just glide between people to get a drink, no guys are shorter than I am so my dating options are wide open, and its part of my personality which is huge in comparison to my size.
some people are just born small you may grow a little but you are probly going to be small for life :[ im small to
There is a chance you will grow a little more but you wont suddenly wake up to find yourself 6".
Alot of people grow after turning 17 but, alot will depend upon your family history. such as how tall are your parents? are the any unusually height differences such as dwarfism or giantism? Do you have any tall members of your immediate family?
it depends on genetics apparently. I'm 15, and I'm only 4'11, haven't grown since the 6th grade. Both of my parents were short, so that's why I'm short.
So possibly, you could grow, but at the most chance you won't. And don't be worried about being small compared to your friends, I've said that before, and everyone says the same thing, it's better to be small.

Am I going to get my period soon?

I am 11 years old and my breasts have been growing for two years. I have been getting thick discharge and pubic hair for 7 months months now. My breasts are starting to get tender and I tend not to be able to focus. I have been anxiose and impatient latley too. I am getting slighlty uncomfortable cramps and PMS a lot. My mom started when she was 13, my oldest sister started when she was 12 and my other sister started when she was 15. My other sister was very athletic and I know that can sometimes put it off. I am not very athletic I like running but I don't do it for sports or for fun. I went to the doctor today and she took a sample of my discharge and said I was perfectly fine but I might start my period soon. But some people on ByeDr.com said that they have had discharge for two years and they stil haven't gotten their period or they went to the doctor too and she said the same thing but it's been a year and I still haven't gotten my period. Please post only seriose answers.
Answer:
If your really "11", your writings seem very mature for your age. But, you'll get it when you get it. You've got some "signs", but that doesn't mean that you can't have them for a couple of years before it actually comes. Be patient.
No one can give you an absolute yes or no answer. It completely depends on your bodies maturation. When it's time, it will happen. Sorry, I know this is not what you are wanting to hear, but it's an honest, serious answer.

Paramedic in SC
Yes, you'll probably get it soon, because you are developing a lot. Dairy products and meat will cause it to come sooner. 11 is slighter younger than most people get it however- 13 is the average. But, remember, getting your period may be fun the first time, but you'll really start to hate it as you get it more and more.
its different for different people
well im 13 and i got mine like 5 weeks ago yeahh so i mean you might... if its thick that when i started. Umm i think so but just be prepared for it. I had discharge for like 1 1/3 and then yeah i got it and it was thick for me like 2 weeks before i started. Maybe you should talk to you sis about it she may be able to help you out. I wish i had and older sister. And how long have you had cramps? Good luck!

Am I going to be ok?

I swallowed my earring.Am I gonna be ok?
Answer:
Try to eat as much mushed potatoes as u can. it will cover the sharp points of the earring and will keep your intestines from being scratched or damaged. If it is a small one u will not have any problems with that. I don't think it was a big one anyways.
I guess it depends on how big it was.
You might want to contact medical help and ask about it. It might be small enough to pass through.
The bigger question is did you swallow your ear too? Unless it pokes a hole in your intestine, you will be fine. You might, um, check your BMs for the next day or so to retrieve the aforementioned jewelry. Don't, however, put it back in your mouth until you've thoroughly washed it!
you will poop it out soon...if you do feel some discomfort go and see a doctor.how did you swallow it anyway...?
yeah you'll be fine. It will just look weird tomorow...haha

My friend swallowed a rinestone on accident is like spanish er something, and she was just like.well thats going to looks weird later... haha it was funny...
probably as long as it doesn't cut something on your digestive track then it will be fine, maybe check your poop...but if your really worried tell someone or go see a doctor they can take an xray to see were it is and even monitor your poop and check it for you!
Tongue ring I assume? Yes you will be fine.
If it was the size of a penny then you'll be fine. Just check your poop to see if it passes. If you feel any pain at all you should see a Dr.
Well it will making going to the bathroom a little more interesting lol..but check to make sure you pass it if not call your dr...%26 u'll probably get some x rays done.good luck
It should come out on the other end. Haha. Don't worry about it really.
wat the heck was an earing do'n in ur mouth?
yea
thats funny how did you do that? :) your fine!!
i DONT thank so,i thank u sould c a doctor

Am I getting my first period?

I am 11 years old, my breasts are tender and have been growing for about two years now. I have been getting thick vagina discharge for 7 months now and just today when I woke up it wasen't as thick as usual. A few days ago my vagina discharge was clear and I started to get cramps. I haven't gotten any vagina discharge since 9 AM this morning and I usualy get it every 30 minutes to 2 hours. I started getting cramps 3 days ago but I started to get this sharp pain pain in my lower abdomin about 4 months ago. I only get this pain like 2 or 3 times a month. The cramps are alternating from sides to middle and are 3 inches below my bellybutton and 3 inches above my vagina. I also started getting pubic hair at the time I started to get vagina discharge. I am having trouble being able to consentrate and I am anxiose and impateint. I also get angry easly. My mom got her first period when she was 13, my oldest got hers when she was 12 and my other sister got hers when she was 15.
Answer:
Yes, this sounds like you will get your period very soon. Most girls get their periods 2 years after breast buds, and within 6 months to two years of vaginal discharge. So you are right there! Thin discharge is a sign of ovulation, meaning you will get your period within two weeks, or it could mean that yu will get it any minute!

Also, all that you have described are symptoms of PMS, or Premenstrual syndrome. If you have never heard of this, don't worry, it is perfectly normal - most women will get some kind of PMS symptom right before their period.

The symptoms include:
mood swings
headaches
back pain
cramps
tender breasts
sore joints or muscles
insomnia
food cravings
clumsiness
nausea
diarrhea
bloating
weight gain
acne
heart palpitations

Well, good luck and congratulations if it is your period!
probably. be alarmed of it and try a pantiliner. Watch out for the next couple weeks. It could be coming. Good Luck!!
Probably you are. Vaginal discharge is a key sign in knowing when your period will come. It comes around 6 to 12 months before your period, so yes, I suggest you start wearing some pantiliners.
I THINK UR JUS GOIN THROUGH PUBERTY,U MIGHT GET UR PERIOD ASK UR MOM
yeah, i would say so. same thing happened to me. i got mine when i was 12 and now im 13! use pantiliners! Good luck Babe!
It sounds like it is coming. Just be prepared for it when it comes. The breat tenderness and aches are key. No need to be anxious and impatient. When your body is ready it'll come.
Certainly sounds like it. Be prepared and keep some panty liners in your purse or in a little bag. It seems to happen when you least expect it. Ask you mom or sisters for some Tylenol or something to help the cramps.

Also, this is the time chocolate becomes your best friend :)
most likely you are.

no you are not fat i am fat i weigh 95 pounds
No you're not fat.
I'm going into 7th grade too! I'm 5'6, and about 105. I think you are fine.
you can't know if you're fat just by saying hieght and weight, you need to know bone and mussle mass and a whole bunch of other things, and you don't sound fat at all, in fact maybe underaverage but i wouldn't know because i don't know all the details..
you are just being a typical 13-year old who wonders if their fat..
i do that too evryday because i am also 13, but i know they everygirl at this age thinks that
HELL NO YOU AREN'T! GIRL EAT SOMETHING BEFORE YOU GO TO SCHOOL!
Take the fat quiz and see for yourself
no. my sister is in 8th grade, she is about 4'8 and weights 105. she says she is fat but really she is average.
Don't worry , you're fine
dont worry darling just swim and jog yer weight will soon disappear.
i dont think so...to find out go to google and type in bmi calculator then it will tell you if you are fat or not
No, you are not fat. You are still growing, so you will get taller, gain weight, and fill out. As long as you eat healthy, and get some exercise you'll be fine.
morbidly obese.
No, but you are short and growing. Over dieting during puberty can stunt your growth. Usually kids bulk up a little before their growth spurt.
fat is such an arbitrary word and it means differently to everyone.
use the bmi (body mass index)
and according to that you are slightly underweight.
Nah, ur not fat.. :)
no your fine
no you are not fat at all you are skinny
HEY GIRL DONT LISTEN 2 DAT CRACKAH WHO SAYS YOU'RE FAT HE'S AN IDIOT N PISSED ME OFFF HE'S JUST SOME STUPID GUY WHO WANTED 2 BE A JERK AND MAKE YOU BE UNHEALTHY SO EVERYOTHER ANSWER WAS KNOW AND GIRL THEY'RE RIGHT...ALL XCEPT 4 THE CRACKAH OF COURSE...I'M 5'1" N WEIGH 95 LBS. I understand your a preteen and such and you view your others around you and compapre yourself and most of the time you feel like their better which of is not true. I know i do. But see its crazy cause usually people envy you for something you dont have. So you are beautiful. And no you arent fat. Dont buy into the tabloids they air brush alot of the things. Your healthy, Be proud
You're a perfect size for your height %26 age. If anyone tells you you're fat they're just most likely jealous.
Ignore DomC COMPLETELY! That is just STUPID! You are definitely NOT FAT! For example, I'm about 13 and I'm 5'4". Okay? I weigh 120 pounds! YOU ARE NOT FAT! Neither am I! People tell me that they don't believe me when I say I'm 120 pounds! I play like ALL sports so it's muscle really! I weigh 21 pounds more than you and you are probably older. So, to sum it up, YOU ARE NOT FAT! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD YOU BE FAT! Okay? Love ya Chicky! If you need anything, I promise whatever you tell me will go to the GRAVE with me, else you can email me! That goes for almost anybody that wants to talk here!
No u r not fat at all but remember u will gain some weight when ur boobs start to form because ur boobs weigh a lot when u have big boobs so be happy of what u have.

Am i fat?

I am 5'2'' and I weigh 107lbs? I am very athletic but I want to know If i'm fat??/
Answer:
No, your not the least bit fat. In fact I'm 5'3" about the same weight there and if any one calls me fat, I'm kickin their booty. Look I've been through an eating disorder. I gained 20 pounds to get back to a normal health.
I can tell ya this, it ain't pretty when ya start getting bruises on your back side when you sit down and your hair starts falling out.
Your at a healthy weight. If you want to exercise to stay fit Great, but don't go nuts on deprivation. Your head doesn't work right, and even as much powder, makeup and fancy crap as Paris H. wears won't cover that in reality your messed up.
omg. hell yeah. fatty fatty buum bum
No girl you're skinny. How skinny do you want to be?
no
i dont think so...
NO!! you probably just have large bone mass and or muscles mass
Your BMI is 19.6, which is well within the "healthy" range of 18.5-24.9.

As for being fat, I would have to imagine not. But to find out for sure, I would recommend a body fat test. Can be done at your local YMCA, and it takes about 5 minutes.
107lbs for 5'2" isn't bad. But you could probably afford to lose 5-7lbs. Stick in there you can do it.
no you can weigh up to 110 and not be over weight
you need to get a grip, you are the perfect weight! stop obsessing, to thin is unhealthy and you dont want to loose a pound your skinny as hell all ready!!
not at all you are actually adout 5 pounds under weight and don't let any one tell you that your fat
No, you're skinny!
fat according to who? you shouldn't let people set standards for you. if you like where you're at, then no you're not fat.
your skinny
no, i bet you're a normal beautiful women
if your fat im huge im 5'2 and 139.
107 pounds is not fat,cause I'm 5'6 about 119,and athletic too.

Am i fat?

it's really hard for me to tell because i have a negitive self body image and i cant help but think im fat..im 5'7, 124 pounds and im 14.. Can someone give me advice on how to think greatly of myself and know im not chubby or fat, cause when i look in the mirror i think i look huge, i cant take it anymore...
thanks
Answer:
Man I wish I weighed 124 lbs. That's a perfect weight for 5'7. You're skinny! When you look in the mirror you should see how beautiful you really are. Around your age is when puberty happens and all kinds of crazy thoughts will go through your mind. No worries you could gain 10 lbs and still not be fat. Your beautiful just how you are, don't try to lose any weight.
no you are not fat!!!!
No. I'm 5'1" and I'm 106 pounds and people make fun of me for being skinny. Your not fat.
No, you are not fat at all. I am 5'5" and I weigh 160 lbs. You are tall, and a lot of tall people weigh 200 lbs or more. I pretty sure you are very skinny weighing at 124, you are skinner than me!!
I know EXACTLY how you feel. i thought i was extremely fat when i was really underweight. if you're 14 at 5'7 and 124 pounds, i'd say thats perfect. even if you were to gain 10 more pounds that would still be good at the age of 14. =]]
good news: you are not fat. The bad news: you have low self esteem
If you are "fat"- SO WHAT?? I mean, you aren't gonna have health problems or anything! A bunch of 14 year old girls are going to make fun of you- that's MUCH worse!! (sarcasm!)
Most men want a healthy looking girl. I am a 5'7" male and weigh 150. You are not fat, that is probably your ideal weight. A 14 year old girl should worry more about her future and education. Remember, skin and bones are gross!!!!!
no u are perfectly normal.i looked on bmi calculator, and it said u are normal.
DONT WORRY AND PLEEEEAAAAAASEEEEE DONT STARVE URSELF!

Am i fat or what?

i can't really tell i am 5,9 i weigh 94 pounds and i am 21 my whole entire life i have never been heavier than 90 and now i am so does that mean i am fat
Answer:
Only if you call a twig fat...
No, you are very close to dangerously thin. Start eating more and exercise, and work yourself up to a healthy 110. You are hurting yourself being this thin.
no i weigh 95 lb.s and im 14
ARE YOU KIDDING!

I benchpress more than you!
stop trying to seek attention. You know by now that you're underweight, especially for your height. Go eat a sandwhich!
omg, get over yourself. you might be naturally really skinny or have some eating disorder but if you really want people to say that your perfect and skinny that bad then ask your parents, they'll say your skinny no matter what.
No but you are unhealthy. You need to go to a doctor and figure out a way that you can gain weight.
no you are under weight!! yoiu should know this answer by now. this is not a seriuos questiuon and if it is get help! because i garnatee the first thing people see when they look at you is not that your fat but that your sickly skinny! eat a burger!
no you are not fat at all
Hun, I thought I was small, you definetely ARE NOT fat, in fact you should have more weight on you then that! I am 5'2 and I weigh 110 lbs and everybody thinks I am scrawny small. I eat like a grown man though everyday and for some reason it just won't stick on me.

Just to add: Maybe you should get tested for thyroid disease that can cause extreme weight problems like being extremly under or over. I was and I turned out not to have it, but you should ask your doctor about it because your size is way unhealthy!
Girl, man i wish i was you cause im fat and you're the most sskinniest person i have ever heard of i mean you're 21 and you weigh under 90 omg girl you're so lucky i really wish i was you for real good luck!
You need to eat. At 5'9'' you are 94 pounds? Nothing but skin on top of bones really isn't attractive not to mention unhealthy...Eat 3 meals a day.
Thatrichguy is right, dam* lady go eat a sandwich!
wow..anorexic is the new fat
No. In fact you are a bit under weight for your height. You should be 110-118 lbs. But hey if you are happy and healthy you are ok.
i hav news for u, ur underweight.either ur bone structure is very light or ur very unhealthy
your extremely underweight! OMGG!!
Jeez, what is it with girls on here? You aren't fat! In fact, for your height, you are UNDERWEIGHT. You should at least weigh 110-120! But if you don't want to gain fat, strength train. Lift weights to gain muscle. Start eating more and make sure it's a balanced diet.

Go eat a cheeseburger. When you reach 175, then we'll talk about being fat.
You are dangerously thin. You may want to be checked for a medical condition if you can't gain weight. You should be at least 125.
Seems like you're trying to seek for the attention eh? You're underweight darling. I'm 5' 5'' - 5' 6'' and weigh 110 pounds. Eat and exercise! If you have an eating disorder, go see a doctor. Stop calling yourself fat. People have worse symtoms. Such as weighing over 300 pounds, so dont get the word fat inside your head for long.
i'm sorry, but i'm having a hard time believing you. there is just no way that you can be 90-94 and be at the height of 5'9 for a long period of time and still be alive. are you sure you are telling us the correct height and weight?
HOLY CRAP GO EAT SOMETHING ANOREXIC!
Are u sure its not kilos, my friend is about 5 feet shes very skinny about 85pounds so i think its impossible for u be that thin.
ITS A SIMPLE NO

Am i considered petite?

i'm 15, 5'2 and 120 lbs.
Answer:
Yes
Yes. Unless you don't grow... anymore but your still growing anyone under 5'2 is considered petite {for aldults i think} since your still growing i don't think you are.
Heightwise i'd say yes.. not sure about weight though because i'd say petite was quite thin as well.. although you can still buy clothes in the petite section in any size..
Im 15 and 5'2 as well!! lol
Yes, anyone is considered petite if you are 5'4" and under, no matter what your weight is.
I wouldn't consider you petite. maybe if you weighed like 95 lbs
Yes a healthy 5ft 2.
Only if you consider yourself so. Act the size you want to be. I would give a lot to be 15, 5'2 and 120 lbs.

I think the petite clothes in the store would be good for you. I am 5'5 and sometimes they even look good on me.
I'm fifteen and 5ft 1 or 2 poss and everyone is CONSTANTLY making jokes about how tiny I am compared to other people.

So YES you are very petite !

My Mum is 4ft 11 and if I mention this to people they seem unbelievably shocked.

I don't know ? Most people of our age seem to be taller than their parents so I think being 5ft 2 now is considered smaller than it used to be ! :)

u are definately petite X
yes you are
You are of normal weight for your height. I would consider you small.

Am I close to having it?How do you know for sure?

I have been having cramps very now and then. I have heard from my teachers, that some cramps lead you into your period. How do you know that your period is VERY close to happening?
Answer:
Periods affect different people in different ways. Generally if you have had your period before you can learn to predict when it will happen due to cramps. It has always been a good heads up for me. So if you have cramps (especially if they are quite painful) then I suggest carrying pads or tampons on your person at ALL times as your period won't be far away!
this , may sound stupid, but you can use a calendar, go to your doctor, and you can start recording your periods, its easy, kinda boring, but easy
honasty u really dont know.

the only thing u can do is rest and if the cramps are really bad either try and ice pack on ur lowwer stomache or a heat pack...

personally heat works better for me...
I have a shower that i can lay flat on the floor and lay with the water pouring on my stomach. and it feels so good!

ALSO take ibeprophen... (idk how to spell it!)?

it's a blood thinner so it'll help if it is ur period
if not it'll just get rid of the cramps!

hope u the best
My breasts get extra firm and tender - that's how I know it's coming and sometimes I get a sharp pain in my abdomen, usually one sided, right before it starts.

keep track with a calender :]

Am i average?

Im like 5'4 and almost 12 what should be an average weight me?
Answer:
you shount be stressing over your weight as long as your healthy, 5'4 is a pretty good height and you should keep it in the 100's but no more than after 140.
anywhere from 100-120 should be fine!
around 125 pounds, but you could easily pull of 133 and still look good.
check with youor doctr
110-135
100 to 120
Yes docs have charts for average weights for specific heights. Either way you got a long time of growing yet to go..even up to 20 yrs. old. Enjoy your teens and GL.
goodness me i feel short as! im 15...5 feet 2 and i weight 57..is that bad or wat. anyway i think u should be around 45-53kg. why wat do u weigh
48kg
CALCULATE YOUR BMI AND DECIDE

Am i average weight?

Im 13 and I have been 100 pounds sometimes 90-95 and my weight keeps changing all the time. The thing is that i have been on and off with the same weight ever since grade 6 and now im going to grade 8.? Is this weird? (im about 5''6')

Only serious replys please. Thanks.
Answer:
Your weight fluctuates throughout the day. Usually about five pounds.

Your weight sounds kind of a bit skinny for your height, but maybe your build is small. *shrugs*
i think you are more of a underweight side.
You are 100% fine.
i think ur underweight
yea kind of
ur close to underweight around lower average?
you're perfect. don't lose ANY weight. you could actually stand to gain a little.
yea, if you're five six and thirteen you're like fifteen- twenty pounds underweight.
i'm 5'5 and 163 pounds(74kgs) and yes i could lose a bit but i'm not "fat", by the sounds of it your skinny
5/5 is 105 and thats the right weight for freshmin girl
that is a good weight for your height. Try to stay active and your body will form well. The next few years your body will change greatly.
some ppl are born thin and light... its natural... but try not to exercise too much or eat too less otherwise you are quite okay
OKay your the same age as me, taller, and weigh less. If your 5' 6'' u should weigh at LEAST 115. Okay I'm 5' 4'' and weigh about 112 and trust me I'm not fat. But the thing is you can weigh a lot but look healthy. Thats how I am. I weigh more than my friends but I'm skinny in a healthy way.

You should gain a couple of pounds.
Girls going through puberty have a lot of hormonal changes going on that will affect your weight. You will probably begin to fill out (your hips will get bigger, breasts, etc) so weight change will happen.
According to Prevention Magazine, at 5'6" you should weigh between 118-146. Are you skinny? Do people tell you you're too skinny? Listen to your body, hon. It'll tell you if you should gain weight. And listen to your parents too. Good luck to you. :) -L
As long as you are eating enough (not depriving yourself when hungry) and not over-exercising, you're fine. I knew lots of very thin girls in middle school; most of them filled out by high school.
You're perfectly normal!! I'm 14 and I've been 100 pounds since 6th grade!! Of course, people get off and on on a certain balance of weight, but that's the way life is. And I'm about the same height too. It's not weird, it's perfectly normal. Don't worry about it. Hope this helps! :o) lol!

Am i at a normal weight?

i mean my doc said im overweight

cuz im 5'4 and i weigh 145 lbs, and im 15 years old

i mean i never considered myself fat, i always look good in everything...lol...

and im a dancer, and have a few muscles and calves

thanks~~~
Answer:
Well, if your arm gets caught in the car door when you slam it, WAKE UP CALL!
sounds like you're ok, you're too young to be worried about that.
If your doctor says it, then I don't think anyone else's opinion here really matters. =D
over weight, yes, obease no.

it's probibly a concern to the doctor becuase you're still a teenager, and are likely to pack on 10 or 20 more pounds before you reach your 20s.

But they should have done a body fat % test because you say you're an athlete with a lot of muscle mass.
The approximot weight for a 5'4 girl depending on her frame ranges from 125- 140. so tecnically u r 5 pounds over weight. but thats an easy loss. Also rember thoug u sed u r muscular. that has a lot to do with it because mucsle weighs more then fat. ;)
Well I'm 14,
I'm 5'2, and I'm 108.
So I don't really know about you, but I would listen to the doctor. I'm sure your not fat, they are probably more concerned with what you eat (I'm a junk food person too ;) )
It may just be your metabolism that they are watching.
i dont think u are beacause ur a dancer alot of it will be muscle mass i wudnt worry about it
muscle wheighs more than fat so if u arent fat and ur comfortable with ur body u should b fine
well the doctor knows best, its really good that you feel secure in your body tho! id say just lose 10-20 pounds, no more than that, it'll be simple since you dance anyway, just watch what you eat and you'll lose weight like crazy
You know what I'm 5'3 and I weighted 145lbs and my Doctor said the same thing but he was quick to say its only according to a height weight chart that doctors follow i'm pretty muscular and the height chart is old and leaves little room for muscle (if your a dancer you should be fairly muscular) as far as women go. So don't even sweat it its meant to show healthy normal(average) weight for for your height but it doesn't always apply your doctor should have explained this. Hope I helped.
hey girl. its me ur worst nightmare. hahaha. thats so funny. u overweight fatass. thats hillarious. u are fat. fatty mc fat fat. ewwwwwwwwww. 145lbs. im 5ft 8in and weigh 125lbs. u are so freakin fat. no its not muscle. its ur fattyness. u loser. u are fat. ur obese. ill give u some weight watchers coupons dont worry. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Am i and my freind fat?

im 13 weigh 100lbs. and am 5'2. am i too fat? o and is my freind fat? she is 13 weighs 118 lbs, and is 5'2.
please answer!
Answer:
You both are in the right range.
Your friend is at a good weight for her height. You are a little underweight.
No. The healthy weight for someone who is 5'2" should be around 110lbs give or take some. So you are both fine =)
You are both healthy although you are a bit under weight
at 5'2" you should weigh between 98lbs and 130lbs .. so you are both fine
No this is normal for ur age/height. As u get older u will start toning up and feel alot fitter. Ur weight may stop at a certain age and stay at that for a while. Exercise and eating properly balanced diets can achieve a good weight. Drink plenty of water which is also good for ur skin.
That sounds about normal to me. I'm 5'6" and am 125 and look okay. You two sound fine though.
Ur friend is right wear she should b but u r a little under weight
nope looks like you guys are normal!
Seriously?

I mean . . . seriously?

If you are honestly worried that you are fat I would suggest seeing your doctor who can suggest a counselor dealing with body image issues.

And if you just want to show off how thin you are with a "omigawd, I'm a size two, I'm, like, soooo fat!!" little monologue, spare us.
Are you KIDDING?

I wish I was that weight at that hight.

Am i alright?

i really dont want to eat. i dont think im fat or anything, but food is really ... just the smell is grosses me out. no im not pregnent. only 13. help! i dont want to lose weight!
Answer:
You need to seek a doctor so that you can get some testing done to find out if there is a serious ailment going on with you. Good Luck
then pick a food thats your favorite, everyone has a favorite food, and attempt to just eat that
I had the same problem. But it only happened to me after I got pregnant. I still get nauseated at the sight of some food. I just eat my favorite foods. I still eat even if I feel that way. I don't want to eat because I feel sick but I never end up vomitting or anything. So just eat all your favorite foods even if it makes you sick.
You know, it's not unusual to lose your appetite but sometimes these symptoms might partner with sicknesses or other patterns of the body. A cold or flu, for example, a parasite, a recent traumatic event or just the cycle of your period.

I know that in my past too I have lost my appetite, not because I was trying to lose weight but due to stressful or traumatic events.

Just try and find a food that you still enjoy and if your loss of appetite continues, it's not too lame to see a doctor about it.
It's better to make sure you're in complete health both in your body and in your mind.

Am i alone??

alright, so i absolutely dread getting my period. I only use light pads, and I have to change them every hour and a half. I have to wake up 3 times a night to go to the bathroom and i have to sleep on my side so my period doesnt leak. I cant even do normal stuff during the day--i usually stay home because i dont want to go out and have to use the bathroom so often. I also dont do sports or anything during my period and try to plan around it. i always have to stay in weird/awkward positions so that it stays on the pad and im so SICK of it. any advice?
Answer:
Either use bigger pads at least at night or use tampons...
use tampons
try depends
try tampons - and don't let your period ruin your life for a week
Tampons--they will change your life.
well use regular pads for one thing.. u could also use a tampon w/ a light pad...
you shouldnt put your life on hold when you have your period. if it does get on your underwear its no big deal.. Just wash it in the sink w/ cold water and soap at the end of the day
I do have that problem sometimes and I just wash them out and go on
I was like that when I first started. I suggest tampons, they changed everything. I could even go swimming!
why don't you try using tampons or one of those pills that cause you to get your period only four times a year. One is called SEASONALE. Best of luck
i wouldnt use light pads because u have more of a chance of to leak . i would do sports cuz it regualates ur period and it helps with cramps if i dont run i my period i get bad cramps , i did wrestling for school on mine .
I'll give you 'half' of what you say you 'must do' ... but you do need to be more 'active' during your period and the answer is to buy HEAVIER pads, and wear 'dark skirts' ... and don't be so 'quick' to change your pads because you will 'smell them' before anyone else. And yes, I got 'sick of it' too ... but just wait until you are past forty and are perimenopausal. Do you have a clue why so many women between the ages of 40-55 wear black pants all the time?
you may have a fibroid or cysts causing the heavy bleeding.need to go and have the doctor look at you.sometimes a d%26c is needed to scrape out the lining so the bleeding will slow down.
Learn to use tampons and/or get a pad for heavier days. There is no reason for your period to halt your life altogether. If your periods are excessively heavy, different pad or not, then tell your mom to take you the doctor as that is not normal.

I suspect your biggest problem is that the pad you're using is far too small for your needs and that's why you have to change so often. A more adequate pad for your amount of flow will increase that to where you change once ever 4-5 hours.

As for overnight, buy the long pads designed for overnight. Trust me, they're amazing.

Hope it all works out for you.
Use a thicker pad?
I've tried the whole light pad only thing but it gets on the underwear too much.

I only hate my period when I'm having bad cramps, when it makes me extremely moody.. or when I'm suppose to sleep next to a guy friend of mine. (That's the worst because 1) spooning with them I feel so awkward and like I should tell them, 2) having to worry about waking up with a stain on the pants)
Use tampons and see your gyncologist to see about getting on the pill its will majorly decrease your flow and make it real predictable ..also greatly decreases the cramping with alot less flow ...
The coil is one of the best ways to solve this problem.
The pill is also used to.
My advice would be to go and see your doctor so you can work out whats the best thing for you..
Use tampons and/or bigger pads.
okay first of all throw the light pads away
use these pads called stayfree maxi
they are maxi super long
they sell them in walmart and theyre so confortable
and with them you can sleep the whole night worry free trust me
light pads arent for the night
and you can play sports with them
its kind of bad to be inactive during your period
just act like you dont have it and you'll get used to it
hope this helps :D
Don't plan your life around your periods. You are going to get them every month for many years and there is no way around that.
I think the best way to not let them interfere with your life so much is by using tampons during the day and those large super/maxi pads at night. If you use the large tampons, you won't have to change them as often and you won't have to worry about how u sit or what you do during the day. The large pads will allow you to sleep uninterrupted cause they will be able to absorb more fluid. If your flow is really heavy, you might have to get up once, but its still better than getting up three times!
If you don't want to use tampons, you can just use large pads with more absorbancy during the day, at least you will have to change it less often. Wear comfortable, tighter underwear during the day and jeans or something so you don't have to worry about the pad being out of place or stains.
Do whatever you would normally do during the day, just make sure you keep pads/tampons with you wherever you go; restrooms exist almost everywhere you go. You have to get used to going out during your period, you can't sit at home for four days every month.
If your periods are really *that much* of a problem, you can get on the pill with which you only get your period four times in a year.
Hope this helps :)

Am i albino?

Thanks for reading i hope its not too long
well i have white skin and lets say im whiter than other people but its not like snow color.. someitmes i have blue eyes (dark blue) and sometimes i have brown :) i have blonde hair but it looks yellowish.. Everyone calls me albino like a tease and it hurts my feeeling is there anyway i cant take it away this has made my life hell.. Please help me
Answer:
You are only truly albino if you have those red eyes.
YOU must learn to accept yourself for what you are.
Albinos dont have any pigmentation in their skin at all.
and with your blue eyes?brown eyes I doubt that you are albino.
Screw 'em. The only way they can get hair the color of yours is out of a bottle. Tell them that the next time they say anything! Also, be proud of your pale skin! So you're not tan, you won't be incredibly wrinkled at thirty from the excessive amounts of tanning other girls do!
anything that makes you different from the rest at that age can make your life hell if you let it to. even if u were an albino (and i am not saying that u r, you just have pigmentation loss)-so what?
it does not change or make the person that you are, and this is all that counts.
no you're not albino. albino people have pink eyes and a white/yellow skin tone and hair. you also would have defective vision.
You might be. Apparently there's some types of albinism where you can still have colored eyes and hair. Here's a bit from wikipedia that might describe it:

"Oculocutaneous albinism type 2 (OCA2) (OMIM: 203200), the most common type of albinism, is caused by mutation of the P gene. People with OCA2 generally have more pigment and better vision than those with OCA1, but cannot tan like some with OCA1b. A little pigment can develop in freckles or moles. People with OCA2 usually have fair skin but not as pale as OCA1, and pale blonde to golden or reddish-blonde hair, and most commonly blue eyes. Affected people of African descent usually have a different phenotype (appearance): yellow hair, pale skin, and blue, gray or hazel eyes. About 1 in 15,000 people have OCA2."

Anyway, there's multiple types, so you could be one of those types. But I think the only way to really tell would be to find a geneticist who could test it.

Don't let people get you down! Whether you are or aren't an albino, it doesn't matter what insecure jerks say to you. Be proud of how you look - not so long ago, pale skin was the ultimate sign of beauty and wealth! If you know these people well enough, maybe you could talk to them and ask them not to tease you like that, or take it to a teacher or parent. Don't put up with it if it keeps bothering you.
Kinda hard to tell with just that. I think I would need to see a picture to be able to tell. If you don't like your hair color, you can dye it, but I don't suggest trying to get a tan because that can be really unhealthy.

Am i about to start my period?

I'm 13, about 5', 90 lbs, and a 34 a or aa, if that helps. Well, I've been having what i think are cramps all day, my stomach will hurt for about an hour just below my bellybutton (not badly) and then it'll just stop... also i feel unable to excercise (im very athletic). My zits suddenly cleared up, without warning, and I'm getting discharge again (it had stopped for a while). Please help, am i going to start? im going on travel tomorrow and i dont want to get it on the plane!
Answer:
I have no idea if you're going to start it! But I do know that if your body is getting ready to start your period, the change in pressure and altitude will start it right away. Take a pad or tampon or both, or several of both with you just in case. tylonal, advil, or midol wouldn't be a bad packing idea either.
With the information u gave me, it sounds like u are about to start. I was 10 yrs. old when I first started my period, I didn't have cramps, I just went to the bathroom, and saw red in my urine. I am 12 now.
Wear a panty liner while you're traveling...better safe than sorry, honey
Sounds like it to me too. I started at 9 yrs old and had the worst cramps (I didnt know what they were back then though) about a month before hand. Then in the 7 days leading up to it I also had the cramps that you are presenting with. The discharge is absolutely normal as it is getting ready to start bleeding.

My advice is to take some tampons/ pads with you on the plane just incase you do get them but dont be alarmed as you are now turning into a woman :)
Have a good one
Don't panic. I was lucky I didn't get mine untill I was 14. Is your stomach a little bigger than usual? If so than that can mean your bloated. Just take it easy and carry some sanitary stuff in your purse so you can be prepared. And talk to your mom, she should know how to help.
well get some pads just incase cause if u do u start u will haft to have some or else . Ur at the age and u usually start when Ur at least 100lbs but now that Ur 13 that doesn't matter. you really don't know but the cramps are a sign maybe in 3 weeks who knows .and make sure to have some Advil if u do. don't worry it is no big deal u just haft to get used to it.i was 11 when i started and it was over winter break so it better that starting during school but now I'm 15 and its no biggie
First, calm down. If you start you can be prepared. It sounds like you just may be ready so it's time to get either a pad or tampon, whichever you feel most comfortable with.

Answer:
dude ...don't get caught up in that baloney...you are a great weight for your size.a sis pack comes from working out.
I think you look fine...you are not fat at all.
noo your definatly not fat.. your like average.
in order to get a 6 pack you need to do sit ups and stomach crunches . no you dont look fat
Ur kidding right? I'm the same height, and 10 lbs heavier, and am still considered skinny. I work out all the time and don't have a six pack. Hit the gym with some heavy weights, u'll be fine.
you are perfectly fine! the medias idea of a nonfat body is an unhealthy one.I think you look great, so dont worry about you weight...and besides, its probably because you are so tall =) No worries, your not fat.
You are fine. Your face is just roundshaped---you are not fat whatsoever. For 6'2", 172lbs is on the lower side if you ask me... Plus, whoever told you that all skinny people ahve six packs? LoL!
Actually you're a skinny guy. Which is fine...6 packs are genetically based and most people with more muscle will have them.

Your not fat...so eat. Your still very young and the last thing you should do is worry about weight. Eat...have fun...play outside. You want six pack gain muscle and build the foundation for it. Your young...give it time.
Wow thats not true in order to see a six pack you actually have to have a lower percentage of body fat then recommended to be healthy BTW 6 packs are over rated the only person that cares is the person who has em
you are not fat.. dont get caught up in the way this other girls look in magazines, and not every one has a six pack. if you want ur abbs more firm or a six pack then just try some sit ups, u're just fine
u are soooooooo not fat.
you're perfectly fine!
just try some sit ups!
ummm...no..where do u c the fat? cause i dont c any
your not fat and if you need to get a 6 pack then you just need to do ab excersizes to define your stomach.
nope. u look fine.

Am i 2 skinney ?

Answer:
If you are worried about losing weight, try to increase your calorie intake (in a healthy way) with little snacks during the day. It doesn't matter how much you weigh (in the end), but what your BMI (body mass index) is. 110 lbs looks very different on someone who is 6' than someone who is 5'. Check out this (child and teen, there is a link for 20 yrs +) BMI calculator. http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/calcula... It will let you know what your BMI is, where you fall (underweight, normal, overweight, obese) and you can work from there. Teens need a larger food intake to make up for the longer hours spent awake and increased energy and activity. Try eating more often (whenever possible).
From that picture I don't think you are too skinny. There's no side view to see but you look pretty healthy to me.
Hun, you're way too skinny! Start eating some more.. you may have to force yourself.

-Kari
i would say you are to skinny any less you will just be skin and bone eat some Twinkies or cupcakes you need a put on a few pounds just don't take my advise the wrong way and become overweight i would recommend any where from at least 10 to 20 pounds
NO I WISH I WAS UR SIZE UR PRETTY NO HOMO
you know what youre not that skinny, for me it's just fine. It depends on you on how you take it. I'm just like you , you see but for me it's not that necessary to worry about it. The thing that you must worry with is that even your skinny are you still healthy?
maybe you could gain a little so you actually have a shape i lost alot of weight last year and was skin a bones so i had to stuff my face when i was stuffed until i saw i got curves!!
You look like an average healthy teenager to me.
you look a little skinny. but not like bad. maybe you have a thyroid problem. it's were your metabolism is super fast and your body cant catch up. it's called hyperthyroidism. but if your force yourself to eat and eat a lot, your can stretch out your stomach and make yourself gain weight, if you dont like being skinny.
...it'd be nice if there was a side view. and how can you help not eating?
Please don't let everyone see your pic hunny! part of growing is a constant change in your body it fluctuates alot in your teens especially if your growing taller! If your really concerned please talk to your doctor or family! As long a your eating healthy you should be just fine! Are you being more active? Are you stressed out over something? Answer those before you worry! If there is no reason the definitely call your doc!
Good luck!

If the ovarian cyst is removed through major operation then wait for a 3- 6 month, it was a simple operation then you may conceive after a month.

Always UltraThin Pads?

Has anyone else had a problem with always pad wing adhesive not coming completely off? It is really starting to get annoying and I may switch to a new brand.

If anyone did switch, what did you switch to?
Answer:
I use StayFree, regular with wings. I have been for as long as I can remember. I don't like Kotex because they don't absorb as well as they claim (well, for me they don't). With the StayFree, I've never had any problems with the wings... I've always wondered why they even make pads without them... lol... But, yeah, I'd recommend the ones I use! :)
I like Kotex, though I don't use the wings kind.
thats why i like them because the wings stay in place and the wings are large so it goes all the way over.

Always Late Periods? Hormone count is normal according to the doctor what is goin on with me!?

I always have constantly late periods to 43 days maximum i went to the doctor about this and bascially my hormone count is normal. So i wonder why if my hormones are normal why i am not having a 28 day cycle! Has any one else had any experience to this, what causes this if hormones are normal. I am 16 year old and started my period when i was 12-13. Thankyou for any help you can give me
Answer:
How irregular are they? Could be you just have a 30 or 35 day cycle or something. Periods can be very irregular in some people especially the first few years. Some people are just like that. Not everybody goes for 28 days, you could be mostly regular but on a longer cycle. The fact is if your hormones are normal then it's probably nothing to worry about at the moment. In fact you're rather lucky, I wish I had a 43 day one!
i dont know why your periods are so irregular, but it can take years for them to become regular, i had mine for 5 years and they still weren't regular, but then i went on the pill and that worked. you coupld try the birth control pill. some women take it only to ease period pains and make them more regular. mine are like clockwork now!
Not everyone has a 28 day cycle.

Yours just happens to be about 43 days long.

The only time I had a 28 day cycle is when I got on birth control pills. When I wasn't on pills I could have it anywhere between 30 and 50 days.
Why did u not ask all these questions from the doc?

Alright..need women information?

ok..i have a friend who told me that she has her period once every three months...is this possible?!?! if so...how? and when would her ovulation be? thank you

...so confused!
Answer:
your friend is prob on BC and if she is she wont ovulate and thats why she has one only every there months u only need on every three months because ur body dont make that egg there for ur body needs less cleaning and thats what ur cycle is doing
she could be on the depo shot..that can make periods bizzare
ovulation usually happens mid cycle, or in a normal cycle around 14 days. If she is having a three month cycle I would guess it's anybodies guess when she ovulates, I'd guess 14 days before her period?

Almost 2 years after c-section...?

I give birth to my baby almost two years ago. The incision is not gone (like I hear from other women). The gyno told me it was a keloid (spelling??). That is not the problem. After I had the c-section I was unable to sleep on my side for a while because of sharp pulling sensation on my two sides . Now, after almost two years I still feel this exact same pain sometimes. I also have the same feeling of discomfort around the area as I did after the c-section when I empty my bladder. I told my doctor about it but she did not really think it was a problem. I am also having trouble concieving although I became pregnant within one month for the first baby. I will go to the docotor again to ask her about any problems that are causing our inability to have another baby. I am not totally happy with her but she sends me to this high risk pregnancy group that I absolutely love and trust. Any ideas about what could be causing this pain?
Answer:
nerve entrapment is one idea but also plain ole adhesion's spindle like scar tissue some people develop but also caused from the cautery they use during surgery to stop little bleeds, if you keloid than you most likely develop adhesion's also for the scar you can have them inject some steroids to flatten out the scar for the adhesion they can laparoscopically remove them but this isn't very successful for long term as they return easily and the surgery to remove them can cause more, when you get pregnancy again and repeat c/section they will remove them, consecutive c/sec always take longer as a majority of women have them and don't even know it.
If it were less than 2 years I would say infection, but since it's been so long my educated guess (I'm an OB/GYN nurse) would say it is just a very sensitive scar or at the extreme end it could be nerve entrapment where scar tissue forms around healing nerves and basically "strangles" them. You have to remember that with a C-section the cut goes from your outer skin through your uterus so there can potentially be a lot of scar tissue that forms. I would bring up nerve entrapement at your next appointment and see what they say. This should more than likely not be interfering with becomming pregnant again... every pregnancy is different and can take much different time to conceive child to child. Hope this helps!
Some doctors blow stuff off when there is a problem. Get to a couple doctors and interview them. Do not ask them for a diagnosis at the interview or you will be charged. Just ask questions to see if you feel the doctor would listen to you and attempt to solve problems. That is the only way to go. Get a new doctor.
Everyone else has given you what I think are good answers about the problem with your scar.

Unfortunately, cesareans also carry the risk of secondary infertility. Should you get pregnant again, you will want to seek a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) with your future pregnancies in order to minimize the risk of complications future cesareans will bring to your future pregnancies. Many doctors are very hesitant to attend VBACs because they tend to be careless by inducing and using other interventions that increase the risks, and are therefore legally risky, so most doctors will try to talk you out of a VBAC. For this reason, you will want to find a doctor or midwife that is supportive of your plans.

It's also very important that you follow your gut with respect to your doctor and find someone you trust and that can give you answers to your questions.

The best way to find a VBAC-friendly midwife or doctor is by going to http://www.ican-online.org . Click on "Community" and then "Local Chapters" and search for a chapter in your state.

You can also join ICAN for support and advice at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ican-onlin... .

Best of luck trying to conceive!

Alli Weight Loss Pills - What's The Verdict?

What's the feedback been about the Alli weight loss pills so far?
Answer:
I personally know someone who has had some good success with the Alli weight loss pills. Don't take it if you're only like 5lbs overweight though. Check out more info here http://www.squidoo.com/where-to-buy-alli...
I am not taking it but I have heard that it causes pretty constant diarrhea. Don't know if its worth it for me after hearing that.
Bad news... Bad news..
I read that if you ate too much fat while on it, you'd get "oily gas." So.um..no thanks.

Alli- Should I take it? I need to loose 50 lbs within 2 years.?

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if I should take alli to help me with my weight loss. I am getting married (renew vows) in two years. I would like to shed 50lbs. I saw this program that talked about alli and I was wondering if I should take it. Any comments or suggestions? Would be really nice if someone using the product would comment as well.

Thanks for your help!

Lilmo
Answer:
I started taking it the day it went on sale and I love it. After being stuck at the same weight over a year and the scale not moving, I am now down about 8 pounds and it has been very easy. I have stuck to a very low fat diet and take three tablets each day.

I've changed to eating very well, lots of vegetables, lean meats, whole grain breads, non-fat milk, etc. Much healthier than when I tried Atkins. I'm also never hungry and build in low fat snacks throughout the day.

What I do like is knowing that "if you do the crime, you do the time". I liken it to not wanting to drink because of the hangover. I don't want the side effects so I just don't eat the fat to start with.

I plan to stay with this plan for 10 more lbs then as needed. Actually after being on the plan for a few weeks now I'm finding I don't want fatty foods anymore anyway.
If you go to the website for that product, there is a questionnaire that will let you know if you are ready for that type of medication.
its something that u really need to commit to. if u eat fatty food u will get (sorry to be graphic but oily anal leakage and oily stool) ive been thinkin about taking it too but check out the website i think its called myalli. it has a test to tell u whether ur ready or not. also, have u tried other things like exercise and proper diet?

good luck!!

I'm not sure I have heard good thing about it though
you have to watch your fat intake. if you ingest too much it will cause you to "soil yourself" i would carry around a 2nd outfit where ever you go.
No. If you exercise and stay active and on your feet, and eat a high fiber, naturally low fat and low sugar diet, you should easily be able to lose that weight in 2 years. You could even do it in one year. Losing a pound a week is a healthy rate of weight loss. Those pills just aren't good for you. I tried Hydroxycut but it made my heart race and it was a little disturbing. I asked my doctor about it and he likened it to using 4th gear instead of 5th in your car. Yes you burn more calories but your "engine" might wear out sooner.
alli aids in weight loss, if you already are putting in the work. say you're already dieting and excercising taking alli will cause you to lose an addtl 5-7 lbs/year.

it may also cause uncontrollable diarhea.

save your money
http://www.myalli.com/default.aspx...

Their website answers a lot of questions, but looking at the side effects is worthwhile as it can cause some embarrassing moments until you are used to cutting down your fat intake.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you.

Allergy to birth control/stopping halfway through pack?

I started birth control for the first time almost two weeks ago. I had some problems with irritation "down there" that may have been caused by the pill, and on my 11th day of the pill I broke out in horrible hives all over my body. I ended up going to the ER because it was so bad and my breathing felt kinda weird and they told me it was an allergy to the pill. I stopped taking it today, will not taking it anymore mess me up even though I wasn't on it long? And how long does it take to get out of your system?
Answer:
I would talk to the doctor who prescribed it to you and tell her/him about your allergic reaction first and they can determine from there what to do next. Please don't take the pill anymore and it normally takes 48 hours for the reaction to get out of the body. It takes 2 weeks-4 weeks or sometimes longer for your hormones to balance out again and you'll notice that you'll have a longer period.
its shouldnt after just 2 weeks..though you may start to bleed..then your cycle might be irregular for a little while..

All mothers come her 11 year old boy needs mom advice!!!?

i wanna tell my mom that i wanna be an actor at this age 11 but i think shes gonna get upset that im not gonna finish school like anormal boy how do i reason with her to lat me be an actor and to get me an agent and all
Answer:
talk to her and tell her that this is something you really want to do. tell her that you will be sure to work really hard in school and take acting jobs over the summer. hey, it worked for keira knightley. when you start taking more jobs then you can drop out of school but i really think you should try to stick with summer jobs until you have a steady career. good luck, maybe you'll be famous someday!
Tell her honestly what you want to do.dont tell her youre dropping out of school. Just because youre an actor that doesnt mean you cant finish school. She sit down with her. Better now than later.
just tell her you want to be an actor and it wont effect your school work but remember agents are hard to get and sometimes cost money before getting you a job so.......

All natural help for hot flashes?

Appreciate any suggestions for all natural remedies for hot flashes. Thanks-
Answer:
I started having hot flashes a month ago. My doctor and I are both against HRT. He suggested that I try Black Cohosh. It is a natural supplement you can get just about anywhere. I got mine at Walgreen's the Nature Made brand. What a relief!! Not only are my hot flashes much better but the mood swings have evened out as well. It has worked wonders for me and no side effects. Good luck!
Anything with soy. My family doctor recommended black cohash. I tried a lot of these products, but the only thing that has really helped me is a moderate level of HRT (estradiol). Some HRT is made of plant estrogens now. If you use the natural rememdies, look for a brand with a government certification. They generally are more careful about their ingredients and more consistent about keeping the strength constant. Good luck and be careful.
A solution may be to keep a glass of water and a bottle of motherwort beside you at night, and take 10-15 drops and a swallow of water if a night sweat awakens you. Exercise directly decreases hot flashes by decreasing the amount of circulating LH and FSH, by nourishing and tonifying the hypothalamus, and by raising endorphin levels (which plummet with hot flashing). As little as 20 minutes three times a week may reduce flashes significantly.

Dong quai is an emmenagogue that has been found very helpful for menopausal problems such as regulation of hot flashes, and it is reported to help relieve mental and emotional upset.

Chaste berry (Vitex) has been found to affect pituitary function and has many uses, particularly in regulating hot flashes and dizziness. Beneficial effects in menopause may be due to its role in altering LH and FSH secretion.

Motherwort has been found to lessen the severity, frequency and duration of hot flashes, ease stressed nerves, relieve anxiety, and relieve insomnia. For best results with hot flashes, use this herb frequently for 3 months. A common dosage for hot flashes is 15-25 drops of tincture, 1-6 times a day. Do not use if you are experiencing menstrual flooding as motherwort can aggravate this.

If you want to try licorice, remember it can also raise your blood pressure.
I have the answer for you, over the counter Extra Strength Estroven. You can find it any where, it takes about a month to get into your system, but it works great on the hot flashes, night sweats, moods, everything. It is all natural, very good for you and highly recommended by GYNs. Good Luck. If you go to there website you can get a $5 off coupon. www.estroven.com. Be sure you take the Extra Strength

Ali Diet Pill?

Has any1 tried it, or read the book? I heard you can only eat a certain amount of fat %26 if you eat more you get poopie lol.. thanx %26lt;3 Melanie myspace.com/thatspoiledbella
Answer:
Diet pills are extremely dangerous, and rarely work well. (most that do work, stop working once you stop the pill, which means you gain all the weight back, and then some)

Try this instead for a permanent fix!

Here's a plan; stick with it and you'll do fine. In fact, I think you'll be suprised at just how much more energy you have and happy you feel, not to mention toned. (p.s. it's unhealthy to lose more than 1-5 pound a week!)

Step 1: Don't eat after 8PM.
Step 2: NO soda/pop
Step 3: 2 Liters of water a day
Step 4. 3 Glasses of HOT green tea a day.
Step 5. Replace three meals out of a week with a low-sodium soup.
Step 6. Eat a high-protien or fiber cereal in the morning. (whole grains are good) I personally am a fan of wheaties, multi-grain cheerios, frosted shredded wheats, Smart-Start and Malt-O-Meal. -Bacon is actually great because it's filling, so don't be afraid to have a bacon and eggs with a glass of O.J. (you'll be nice and full of the things you need to keep you going without feeling hungry)
Step 7. Play Dance, Dance Revolution or another high cardio work out for at LEAST 20 minutes in the morning.
Step 8. Avoid High-Sugar Foods, period! If there is more sugar than there is anything else, just say No!
Step 9. Measure your food. Eat 1-2 cups of food, six times a day.

Step 10 is the most important rule of all.

Pick one day out of the week. On those days, you can ignore all of the rules 1-9, but ONLY one day a week!
There are only so many calories that you can absorb in a single day, and by splurging, it makes it easier to stick with a diet.

Bust the Myths!

Three glasses of low-fat milk a day is good for you...so is yogurt...however Processed cheese is not!

Don't drink Diet! Fake sugar confuses your body and will actually trick your body into demanding more carbs. Your body isn't as fooled as you think it is; it may not be sugar, but it's something...and that something needs 'fuel' to digest.
Unless you are diabetic, stay away from fake anything!

Purging through water...Don't!
Drinking too much water can actually cause your body to induce shock, also called as water toxin shock and other various names. You essentially 'drown' your organs and cause your tissue to 'flood' from the overdose.

water is great; but don't drink yourself sick!
Don't over-limit your food...eat more often, but less of whatever you are eating.

Chew your food well and take your time while eating. When you are halfway done, guage your hunger. Are you 75 percent full? Are you Starving? Are you Stuffed?

Stuffed is too far! It's actually unhealthy to stuff yourself, so stop when you feel you are comfortably full (about 75 percent full) and let the food settle. you can always eat more later, but you can't undo the discomfort of over-eating. (and wow, do we over-eat as a nation)
Really?
Haven't tried it, and at this point probably won't either. Check out the website to get more info. They even recommend wearing dark pants and keeping an extra pair with you because you may not be able to control your bowels. That could be quite embarrassing. You can't have more than 15 grams of fat/day and if you eat too much in one meal, you could have bowel problems.

"...gas with oily spotting
loose stools
more frequent stools that may be hard to control...
...it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work..."
Diet pills aren't really a good idea, but I do know someone on them who isn't having any complications. But she is on a diet, too. You can't eat greasy/junk food on it. That one girl (the one with the very very long response) did a great job.. but I'll add and correct a few things (I have lost over 150 lbs, i think I know what I'm talking about..)

Stop eating red meat! God, no don't eat bacon. You know how bad that is for you? If you want bacon in the morning, try some good soy products. Really, cutting out as much meat products as you can and substituting them for natural sources of protein really helps! I'm not telling you to go total veggie if its not your thing, lol.

Oh and get on a regular exercise routine!
